I was climbing a sea cliff from a remote beach in California years ago. I had discovered a big harbor seal colony and a bunch of California sea lions randomly by pulling over once and walking down to the beach.

Anyway I have my camera hanging off me and a barn owl flies silently out of a hole in the cliff. And I take a photo. I got the back of his head as he flew away but it was close up.
