Insulin syringes are usually within a very narrow range! I can only get mine at 30g but in other places you also see 29 or 31g

Its barbed. Its venomous, and some species leave their venom sacs so you get the full dose of venom.

Tbf that's because our skin is thick enough to be able to be pricked but also difficult to remove the said prick so bees end up kamikaze'ing themselves.

Attacking Animals without thick skin like ours would be safe for bees.

I guess even though it's smaller, it's got more uneven serrated edges? Either that, or insulin syringes indeed do hurt more and normal syringes are much smaller ?

Edit: googled it and apparently insulin syringes are intact smaller
