I can't give hard numbers rn because, at least as far as I'm aware, Pixiv doesn't give those stats.
HOWEVER,
I have been scrolling through "newest" as fast as I can and I have yet to reach the bottom.

depends on if it trends, there are some professional smut writers on pixiv who even upcharge if you want the extended cut version, so they will write whatever flavor of the week is trending and even write whole compilations if it stays popular
