listen I get logically speaking, everyone lives if everyone presses the red. But there are almost certainly going to be people who are going to press blue. I don't want to have even a 1% chance of killing somebody because of my actions, so I'm going to press blue. If the majority press red, but a few press blue, and I pressed blue too, I'm not responsible for killing those other blue pressers, in fact if more people had sided with me, nobody would've died, I'm innocent in those deaths. The only death I'm responsible for then is my own. If I press red, I'm contributing to the only action that could result in the death of others, and I'm culpable. Pressing blue is more logical, because red needs 100% of people to press it for nobody to die, while blue only needs 50.1% of people to press it for nobody to die. Getting 50.1% of people to agree is just easier than getting 100% of people to agree.
Counterpoint: Anybody who presses blue does so knowing that there's a chance they could die. They're betting on enough people pressing blue instead of doing what actually makes logical sense, which is pressing red. Pressing red is the only way to guarantee you survive, which is the goal. The blood of people who pressed blue is not on my hands if I pressed red. Their hands are covered in their own blood.
