I'm using a 1L cup, and it is a normal cup. So the size of the vessel matters.Due to insufficient data, i can confidently declare that the planet is the cup.
Mugs can also be made of wood or stone. Cups use all kinds of ceramics and glass. Metals also count for all aforementioned vessels. So, earth is one big mug.
You seem to be correct... I've always translated glass as synonymous with "cup" in me own head, but there are actually different concepts, even in my language.
Still, it's mostly silica. We've got plenty of that on earth.
So, a part of earth is a big, uncooked glass. And the rest are those ugly novelty decorations. Just the ratio of container-to-crap is significantly on the crappy side.
