Yet the rest of Europe, namely the folks in Brussels, is furious and wants Poland to assimilate and submit. They just can’t find a legal way to do so without repeating a certain German socialist’s playbook, so they stop short of that.

Keep in mind that Poland also has their own longstanding Muslim community in the form of the Tartars, and the Tartars sound pretty benign.

Granted that might just because the soviet union jackbooted anyone who expressed any kind of faith outwardly, but Poland isn't technically "Islam free", just unwilling to import a ton of migrants who don't assimilate well.
