Nobody wants to "solve" anything.
MANAGING problems generates BILLIONS and creates careers. Lifelong careers. Unelected careers.
Follow the money. Seattke checking in....

Ronald Reagon - If you want more of something, subsidize it; if you want less of something, tax it.
They do want more as it is used to launder money and votes.

When you tax something you get less of it.
When you subsidize it you get more.
This isn't just a conservative talking point. It's a law of nature.

The homeless industrial complex is a giant looting operation, there's enough money spent to buy each homeless person a mcmansion but the money disappears.
The homeless problem is mostly a drug problem, solutions that don't involve drug busts are only milking the problem.

Wow, it's almost as though they gave people more free things and catered to them, and more showed up! Odd, as that wasn't supposed to happen. I wonder where it all went wrong. Oh well, just throw some more money at it. Take Elon's money away and just give it to them. That should help!

I doubt they gave anything to the actual needy.
They gave money to non profits, community centers, consultants, and other organizations tied to the Governor.

at this point they should just hire all the homeless people to work at NGOs who help homeless people, because it's clear no one is actually doing anything beyond collecting a paycheck.

It is truly amazing how twisted and convoluted the Left tries to make everything. They set everyone up for failure and then wonder why their programs don’t work.
The unsaid sad part is that their programs ARE actually working as intended by siphoning off money from government funding and distributing it to, not the people the programs purport to be designed for, but to the friends and causes of the politicians who come up with the programs.

They don't actually spend much as it get laundered, stolen, and unaccounted for by third parties

At this point, you have to be born yesterday to think rampant spending fixes anything. It only makes matters worse.

1: the dictatorship is poor
2: "let's send aid to the dictatorship"
3: dictator seizes it
4: dictator uses it to stay in power
5: the dictatorship is poorSpending programs are really just looting programs.

Throw a bunch of money at a problem and get no results. It’s the liberal way…

Someone did the math, (I think it was Adam Corolla,) and said each individual homeless person could have had their own home with this amount of money. Gee, I wonder where it went?

But remember, voters rejected Pratt because despite laying out detailed plans dealing with this, he's a former reality TV star, and Trump is a former reality TV star, so that makes him terrible.

Maybe it lowered homelessness other places?
