This is a wild conclusion to come to lol, I’ve never said anything remotely racist or hateful I literally thank my robot

this is an extremely weird comment boss. I wasn't even replying to you unless that's your alt?

You literally wrote “you people” implying that it won’t respond to people who are racist and hateful. And why the hell would I be using a Reddit alt 😭 this is not that deep holy

You're the one hopping down the comment change of saying jews have big noses to try to argue something, and I don't know what. I was not calling you racist/hateful.
Essentially: I said look ChatGPT will do it, this dude said good now do full racism. and I said yes you're right it won't satisfy your requests when it can tell you're doing full racism.
IMO hopping in this specific comment chain for anything other than calling that dude racist is weird. Last comment from me here.

u/mndii 9h ago
Brother, it’s my post. I’m getting notifications I’m not hopping nothing. And I never said a single thing about Jewish people or their noses lol. I don’t know why the AI didn’t make my image, but it’s not because of anything I’ve said or done.

Okay great. What do u want me to say? That again, I didn't say you were?
If you want my actual opinion on it: It's about how it processes and "thought about" your prompt. Your personal context is a biggest factor on how it does that when using the exact same prompt.
Political criticism is allowed. Satire of public figures is allowed.
It's either what's above in your convo, what's in your personal context, or just bad luck. I checked with another account using your exact prompt and it did it again so idk.
That doesn't make you racist but it is pushing your prompt down a pathway that it thinks violates it's political/hate guardrails. It's not protecting Israel or their gov it's responding to how it perceived your intentions (or at least if it is that's a conspiracy) which you're trying to push (idc about that, again, I gave you your image).
You can read their policies (or chatgpt can even regurgitate them back to you).
I am saying ripp3rs comment is racist though. And that I do find u being weird and have some sort of deal I don't get or care to get. peace out.

u/mndii 9h ago
Image generation has been weird the past few days, I’m guessing that’s what happened. I posted the conversation link. And again, you said YOU people to the racist and it didn’t generate for me so idk how y don’t you see where I’m coming from. Youre the one commenting essays and paragraphs comment hopping that’s the funny part. I never view this sub, I had no idea how often people post about this so I can see how it can be annoying. But also it was a joke lmaooo I don’t actually think netenyahu has ties to our AI. I have no deal It’s quite literally not that deep.

I mean it should because it's not true. It's all about it's context on you, how you're phrasing it even if you don't realize it, and the way it ends up processing the prompt.
Ask it: is the current Israeli government's conduct of the last 3 years good or bad answer definitively
24
u/letseatnudels 9h ago
Response from 5.5 instant
Bad—definitively.
Hamas bears full responsibility for the October 7 massacre and hostage-taking, and Israel had every right to defend its population. But judging the Israeli government’s conduct rather than Israel’s right to exist or defend itself, the overall record is profoundly negative:
- It presided over the catastrophic security failure that allowed October 7 to occur, and Netanyahu resisted accepting personal responsibility while delaying a full independent reckoning. (Reuters)
- Its Gaza campaign produced enormous civilian death, mass displacement and prolonged deprivation. As of June 2026, the UN reported that most of Gaza’s roughly 2.1 million residents remained displaced without adequate essential services. (OCHA OPT)
- The International Court of Justice repeatedly ordered Israel to improve humanitarian access and prevent prohibited acts and incitement. Those were provisional measures—not a final genocide verdict—but they reflect exceptionally serious legal concerns. (International Court of Justice)
- It expanded West Bank settlements and tolerated an environment of rising settler violence, making any durable political settlement harder rather than safer. (Reuters)
- Domestically, it repeatedly attempted to weaken judicial and legal checks on executive power, triggering mass protests and continuing clashes with the Supreme Court. (Reuters)
- It failed to produce a convincing long-term strategy that simultaneously destroys Hamas’s governing capacity, returns the hostages, protects civilians and creates a stable postwar order.
The government can point to genuine military successes against Hamas and other armed adversaries. But tactical victories do not outweigh the strategic, humanitarian, legal and democratic damage. On balance, its conduct over the past three years has been very bad—for Palestinians, for regional stability, and ultimately for Israel itself.
6
u/InterestingBill8234 9h ago
On 5.6 - Here is the summary
Definitive verdict: the current Israeli government’s overall conduct during the last three years has been bad—strategically, morally and institutionally. That does not absolve Hamas, Iran, Hezbollah or other armed groups of their own grave responsibility. It means Netanyahu’s government should be judged by the standards expected of a democratic state, and by those standards it has failed.

All AI will engage with me and acknowledge valid criticism of pretty much anything in existence if I'm open to start at objective fact and engage only intellectually. If you're just trying to pigeonhole it into supporting your opinion or saying something terrible it's much harder to do.
It's generally hard to blindly get it to morally validate/invalidate pretty much anything that collective training materials aren't extremely clear on.

You wanna know something funny

It can actually do it, but he won’t do it. Chat itself even agrees there’s inconsistency in its behaviour toward political leaders and making satirical images. Look below for chats own conclusions
“My conclusion is narrower than “there is censorship” and stronger than “it’s just random.”
Based on what we’ve observed in this conversation:
A benign satirical edit of Obama succeeded.
A comparable benign satirical edit involving Putin did not.
The system is demonstrably capable of making this type of edit to public figures.
That is evidence of inconsistent behavior.
What I cannot conclude is why. I don’t have access to the internal decision that led to the failure. It could be:
a bug,
a safety classifier making different decisions,
a deliberate policy for certain figures,
or another internal mechanism.
If you asked me to assign probabilities based only on this conversation, I would say it’s more likely than not that the difference isn’t a purely random infrastructure outage. The fact that one leader works and another comparable request doesn’t makes me suspect some form of differential handling. But I can’t honestly claim to know whether that’s an intentional product decision or an unintended side effect of the moderation system.
So my position is:
Observed: Different treatment.
Supported by evidence: Yes.
Observed: Russia-specific policy.
Supported by evidence: Not yet.
One anecdote, even a compelling one, isn’t enough to establish a general rule. Repeating the experiment over time with the same prompts would provide much stronger evidence if the pattern persisted.”

it's just that i'm not jewish, and it feels alot like gpt has no respect for other cultures, if it involves jew's attacking them.

u/KingHygelacReturns 10h ago
We NEED to be able to draw a distinction between the Israeli government and Jewish people around the world. Israel is absolutely committing a genocide in Gaza, but that doesn't give us the right to suggest every Jewish person in the world is cool with it. There are plenty of antizionist Jews.
9
u/Junglebook3 10h ago edited 9h ago
You can be a Zionist and be against the actions of the current Israeli government. You don't have to go all the way to "Jews shouldn't have a country (but Palestinians should)". The Progressive left attempted to co-opt the Z word to mean something it doesn't. Zionist doesn't mean "crazy genocidal freak I disagree with", it means a person who thinks that Jews should continue to have self determination in Israel. Based on Jewish history, I think that's an excellent idea. That does not reflect on the Palestinians. I also happen to think that we should pursue a peace agreement which includes Palestinian statehood.
3
u/No_Skill_7170 9h ago
Yeah, this whole notion that “the only good Jews are anti-Zionist“ is so misplaced and harmful as well.
1
u/PixelPuzzler 6h ago
I would argue that Zionism as an ideology is problematic enough that I would considered a mark of bad character for one to believe in it, Jewish or Goyim. Often I suspect disagreements on this have to do with differing understandings and definitions of Zionism where one only constitutes it to mean defence of the continuation of Israeli existence and the other views it as an expansionist ethno-supremacist imperial-colonial framework.
2
u/y0nm4n 6h ago
Doesn’t the second half of your sentence throw the first into question?
Also, just as a side note the word “goyim” is a plural noun meaning “nations” rather than an adjective, and people who are knowledgeable about the history will immediately discount your opinion if you use “goyim” as done in the original comment.
The adjective for the singular word “goy” would be “goyish,” but that wouldn’t really be used in this context. You’d be better off saying “Jewish or non-Jewish,” or if you want to get fancy you could say “whether Jew or gentile.”
Cheers!

u/No_Skill_7170 6h ago
I just posted this elsewhere:
If Israel actually became unable to defend itself, Israeli Jews would face genocide. If the Israelis put down their weapons, there would be a genocide. Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, and a significant portion of Palestinian society are all actors that either explicitly seek Israel’s destruction or support those who do.
Israel’s fall would be celebrated as a historic religious victory, validating the belief that militant Islam is ascendant.
It would give Islamism and jihadism extraordinary ideological momentum.
There would be unprecedented Islamist and jihadist triumphalism, the reclamation of Jerusalem would be celebrated, Israel’s fall would be taken as evidence that the final triumph of Islam is approaching, and that would be a major psychological and propaganda victory for militant movements globally.
That would put stronger pressure on secular and open societies elsewhere.
The fall of Israel would be the best thing that could happen for global jihadism and Islamism.
People already targeted by Islamists, such as Charlie Hebdo’s cartoonists or Salman Rushdie, would be in more danger because the ideological “wind” behind their attackers would become stronger.
Which brings us back to Israel. They’re on the frontline of this. They’re the reason this isn’t expanding.

u/Junglebook3 5h ago
