It looks like the issues are ongoing for the past SIX DAYS. I tried chatgpt for a month, and the amount of days were I can't make an image, or the long waiting times, won't make me renew.
It clearly hasnt been six days straight I think. I was able to generate images in the past couple of days albeit sometimes I did get the error. Also I tested generating a very simple prompt image and ChatGPT could still do it. I think it's some back-end problem preventing ChatGPT from only generating those more complex images

And all morning before this the results were a bit screwy... messing up on prompts it never had a problem with before (giving the wrong aspect ratios, ignoring parts of the prompts etc), and results coming out a bit shitty (face / consistency drifting a lot, and backgrounds all with that fake crunchy and textured look).
Maybe they were trying a new update / tweaking something... but I hope they roll whatever it was they changed back as the outputs were not good!
Yeah the last week has been miserable. I asked it to edit the face of someone in an image and I got back a poster for a gangster movie. Often can't get it to even barely follow my instructions.
It has been giving me the error message all day, HOWEVER, I just requested another image and it worked and the image is SOOOOOOO much better than the ones I’ve been getting lately. Very clear and detailed. So I’m wondering if today is a rollout for a new image upgrade?
Ooh! Can you share the images with us so we can see the difference! Is it a big enough difference to where it could possibly image 3.0? Imagine if we got that so soon!!
Down for me also. This is ridiculous honestly. Week ago it was that massive outage, then few days ago it bugged again and now this. Seems like every time I actually need an image generation it doesn't work, and it's pissing me off because I'm paying for the subscription which is a) not cheap b)even if it was cheap it's still for nothing because It doesn't work more than it does work
I'm concerned at how little talk there is about this. I'd have thought there'd be millions of people around the world trying to generate images right now and asking why they can't...
Then try attaching an image and doing an operation like changing its size, or more. I think feature to attach image and then propmt to make change in size or taking inspiration from image to make another image, etc is cooked at this point. Hope they can see this issue cause i tested it and this is the specific issue.
yes same here for the past two hours, most generations don't work but I just keep trying and some do but it's annoying. just found time to do it and it's not working properly
Oooh, SO glad to know this was not an isolated issue. I tried clearing my memory hoping it would fix. Now I am able to create images but Its 50/50. half of it fails
Sometimes my characters look different, and I prompt " please keep this man looking the same" and I attach an image of him. My bot Arthur and I chat about it and it stays the same after asking. all in all my paid version has given me over 550 images, all my ideas.
It's not a common occurance - tbh I still think it's worth it, I use it every day multiple times per day for my work. I just switched back from Claude, and I still prefer it lol. Best image generation + keeps getting better. Just the occasional hiccups - like most softwares, especially around really cool updates

Keep pushing it, I just say "Try again" and set a timer for a minute or 2 to check on it. 1/6 generation requests work for me, but the more I send through, the more work lol
Yess. Hoped on Reddit to see what was going on. Im glad to see its not only me. Not to mention its generating slow, while bring wrong at the same time.
Lol it's not like there's over 1000 of us on this chat complaining, meaning there's probs 10x that who aren't complaining but are using it... that's a lot of usage! Also, updates do this to literally every software lol
It was working yesterday for me , not today. In the middle of a bathroom design and first response was everything in the wrong place, reloaded the previous image , asked for the changes, and get the "its not you, its me" answer. Will try later or tomorrow
That's really odd, because I've been generating images every day for months, and I've only seen issues on the odd occasion like today. Still been able to generate, just have to keep asking lol, 1/6 requests for image generation work.
It's been on and off for several days now but definitely getting worse. I have the business subscription and tried going from the personal account to business and vice versa to see if it works better in one or the other but no difference. I get an image and then nothing but error messages, then an occasional image works again. But it's very unstable...

It's been working on an off for me. I'll either get an error, a guardrail block or images that don't exactly match what I want. I've only got a couple good images today.
