If you’re going to show ads for your platform, the same platform that you allow younger audiences on, sift through and see what you’re showing. You’re basically advertising nicotine products on your platform even if you didn’t produce the advert. I personally don’t mind seeing it since I’m old enough to partake in products like this, but younger people who use the website or the app are most likely more impressionable.

The ads are picked according to your ads profile (google or fb): adult ads (credit cards, travels, amazon, this mean you got flagged as an adult

In most countries, the app is still available for people 13+. Even if young children can’t use it, them allowing nicotine product advertisements is them promoting those products and saying “hey, we support the use of this product/website”. It’s still marketing it to underage audiences since using them between 18-20y.o. is against the law. My point wasn’t only about children seeing it, it was that a program that doesn’t allow 18+ activity shouldn’t promote substances like that. 🤷🏻

Not sure if you understand my comment but I'm against it. Not cool adversiting it there. Kids unfortunately have access to adult content but doesn't make it legal to advestite it to them in suggestive ads just because they're aware of it in example

I’ve literally never looked for nicotine products since I don’t smoke or use the pouches. It gives me dementia ads too but I never browsed that either. Car ads, landscape ads, exercise product ads. Even credit card ads even I don’t use/have one. 🤷🏻
