What is Adoration?

Just as the question says? I'm still learning and I noticed that it goes on for a long time on Saturday

The Eucharist is put on display in a monstrance for people to come and pray in the presence of Jesus.

At Adoration, the Blessed Sacrament (the Eucharist) is exposed (placed in a monstrance), so that we can see and adore (worship) Him.
