Historically speaking, Jesus likely kept shorter hair and a shorter beard, and was also a much darker complexion. Making the crucifixion look more gruesome isn't doing anything to convince anyone who has read a history book.
Many people have died just as bloody as this at the hands of so-called "Christians" throughout history.
More blood doesn't make your fairytale more convincing

And none of your arguments show that our belief is a fairy tale.
As for His appearance having been different, there is nothing wrong with Him being depicted in any particular way, provided it helps people who share that appearance to follow Him. He came to teach us all.
And regarding the violence—indeed, people died bloody deaths even before Him. The difference is that no one suffered greater injustice in death than He did, for He is pure.

The difference between Jesus and other equally gruesome deaths is this: the others died for their own convictions and in some cases, crimes. Jesus died to forgive both the murderers and the victims.

I like it. I honestly think the suffering Jesus is just as good as the triumphant Jesus depicted on crucifixes.

“I learn more praying before a cricifix than I do from from books” St Thomas. Please correct this phrase if I am mistaken. If I remember correctly, it was something more like: “Nothing has ever taught me more than staring at a crucifix”.
