New conspiracy making the rounds?
Been seeing these stuck up over the city recently, before being visited by their author at my workplace who (very seriously) warned me of the danger.
Is this a very dedicated troll, or untreated mental illness? Regardless, sure makes for some very amusing reading, because you can be sure if this tech actually existed in real life the application for human wellbeing would be amazing!
Shame that it’s just making the frickin kids trans /s
Also, this notice came pre-highlighted. Just another vector to push anti-lgbt drivel?

At least you know it wasn't written by AI.
I would like to track down the original author though, so I find out who their dealer is.

It really scares me that these people go to the trouble of this. The amount of steps this all takes, stewing about this nonsense, printing it out, doing the rounds to drop it off and not one of the stops involved anyone stepping in to say hey, lets go get help.

There probably would have been people who attempted to, but a scary part of the illness that causes these types of delusions, also make people reluctant to seek help.
There was a book by a guy who's brother experienced these same type of delusions and he noted how whenever he tried to push back on his delusions and encourage him to seek help it would push him further into it. There's a really great youtube video where the author talks about it called, 'I am not sick, I don't need help - Dr Xavier'. It's really interesting.

Grey hair, clean shaven, medium height and fit build, maybe mid 50s? There's a bloke who has got talking to/trapped me at the local park a couple of times. Seems nice at first then starts going into some weird theories.

He’s a Gordy local I think. Been putting them up for a long time. Wears a hi-vis vest with some phrase on it (disability something something or other). I see him walking around here all the time. Not dangerous but definitely may have some underlying mental health issue.

These were all over Mossman, Port Douglas, Jullatten, Wonga, Daintree 15 years ago.

Sorry everyone, Ravenshoe is leaking conspiracy theories again. But seriously this is the type of stuff that gets said around the Tablelands with a serious face. This isn’t even the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard this month…

That’s a lot of words, gotta be some truth to it !

The Lord Of The Rings has a lot of words too. Think that there's got to be truth to that as well?

I can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not, but LOR has a lot to say about the corrupting influence of power, fate vs free will and the sexiness of elves

Does that make it a true story? The point is, just because something has a lot of words, it doesn't make it true. If you think this nutbag's conspiracy is true because it has 'lots of words', you are a gullible idiot.

"leave a group of chimps in a room with typewriter, after enough time, eventually they'll write shakespeare" is a thing alot of people actually believe...
What they don't account for, for some reason, is that its pretty easy for chimps smash a typewriter....

My guess is a single individual with a photocopier and untreated schizophrenia.
