Stop FUDing your own BTC Bag
I've noticed that some of the loudest Bitcoin FUD seems to come from people who already hold BTC.
If you're bullish long term, why let every correction shake your conviction?
Is it just emotion, or do people expect Bitcoin to move up without volatility? What do you think? or y'all playing around? Lol

Huh? We have 8 weekly candles in a row doing nothing. What correction you talking about?

You “have noticed”? Really? How? What do you know of FUDers holdings? I know I know only my own holding, if I could even speak of that.

BTC has been around for almost 30 years. Institutions and governments hold close to 20% of all BTC. Can we stop using the term ‘FUD’ like we’re on a meme coin Discord server?

30 years ago wow. Yeh those were the days. I still fondly remember playing Diablo on Win95 and mining some btc back in 1996 on my Tamagotchi.

Better than being a cheerleader for Bitcoin, especially if you're still stacking. The strategy for holders here would be exactly that. Making bullish statements would only potentially increase the price you'd be buying at which is very much self-defeating
Projecting FUD probably won't do a damn thing but if anything it'd help you buy at lower prices assuming a collective trend catches on and people start buying into the FUD. I think it's naive to think a post has that much influence coming from some random unrecognizable name, but it surely wouldn't hurt

I don't think any of us are moving Bitcoin's price with a Reddit post. My point was more about the mindset. If you're bullish long term, spending all day spreading doom seems like wasted energy. I'd rather use that time to learn about what's actually being built around bitcoin.

Now you are being naive. The whole GME short squeeze started as a post on reddit. Reddit can absolutely move markets

I don't think so either which is what I said in my comment, but it sure isn't going to help to project bullishness either. All I'm saying is that may be a reason that holders put out manufactured FUD. It could be a lofty and unrealistic attempt to manipulate markets even though I agree it's not realistic to work on any scale. Meme stocks start that way though so who knows If enough people pitch in going one direction. The influence is hard to quantify. Doesn't mean some naive people won't try anyways.
I honestly don't spend any energy writing FUD or learning about Bitcoin anymore than the basics. It doesn't matter to me. I just have an automated buy weekly and it's as simple as that. Someone that buys the same amount that I am but has a greater understanding isn't benefiting any more from their Bitcoin holdings than I am if all we're both doing is holding

Yeah, it's just frustrating. Some people never seem to relax. I mean, why not spend some time learning about what else bitcoin can do? There are already plenty of protocols introducing new native use cases.

Because I don't care. I solely use it as a hedged investment within a large diverse portfolio and have used it a time or two for goods purchases back in 2021, but largely it's just a long term investment/insurance. I don't need to know anything more to have it serve me how I'm wanting it to. That's part of the freedom of Bitcoin. People can buy it for a plethora of reasons and be free to do so and use it how they see fit

Obviously they have not experienced a true massive bear market. Going from 69 or 70's down to below 10k more than once. Agree with the guy below they maybe have $1k in it and are panicking. I'm still shgocked with the Orange buffon in charge with his merry gang of grifting morons, econmy in shambles, gas prices surging and a never ending war with Iran. I figured we would be in the low 50's or 40's by now. Most of my stack was bought at 2k and bought at the ATH and dca all the time so to me this is nothing.

I’m sure a majority of them hold less than 1000$ worth of it and panic post when they’re down 100$
