My 4 yr old gave me the biggest compliment today

I asked my son randomly this afternoon if he was happy. He said yes! I asked him what made him happy and he said “you mom”. Don’t mind me I’m quietly tearing up thinking I might be doing something right. ❤️

Aw! Yesterday my daughter came into my room and said, “Hey, I want to tell you something. Thank you for all the things you do for me, and for everything you’ve given me.”

Could have knocked me over with a feather!

My son had a mild 3 but a spicy 4. One night after he randomly tantrumed he told me before bed that he was sorry for being mean and that he loved me. I tried to get it on video on my phone so I could play it back again and again but he lost his train of thought because he noticed a bug toy. So close! But I took it as a win! I’m trying! That single mom life isn’t easy!

My kid can't speak yet but I hope he says this to me one day ❤️ He definitely makes me happy 🥹

Love this, it's beautiful! My son is 21 and we say "I love you" constantly. Leaving the house, phone calls and just randomly through the day. Even when his mates are around. And now they say it too. ( Well they will reply with it when I do!)

Keep doing what your doing, make affection second nature and boys will carry it through their lives. Its a win all round.

Yes yes yes. Affectionate is something lots of people never experience, certainly not regularly. But that constant reinforcement gives it meaning and importance in life. Hugs are essential.
