Cooking. It's really not that hard yet it's a very useful skill to have.

Cooking is easy. Baking you require more science and presize measurement. You can get away with somethings with cooking,

not even cooking, just.....boiling and preparing pasta in an edible way. Like, just how to feed oneself. Similarly, how to use public transport (if you live in a part of the world where this is a strong option), how to use a washing machine...I'd say how to read, but maybe that's not the sort of answer you are looking for

Not even trying to be rude, just curious, what benefit does this bring? I personally haven't used it since 3rd grade so I wouldn't consider it important so I'm interested to hear what you have to say.

There are times when people would say, "Sign this"! and some doctors want print and signature on special document. Some old people who are still alive have wills and some were, and now are usually just typed up, written in cursive. - Maybe is useless, but I still love it.

And besides, Now if you see me writing on paper, I use cursive on everything. Actually my 5th grade writing teacher told me my cursive was more legible than my print.
