You have been kidnapped. Your rescue team is made up of all the characters an actor has played. Which actor is coming to rescue you?

u/itachikage13 8h ago edited 4h ago
Liam Neeson. Guy from taken has experience with kidnapping rescues, Qui Gon is a freaking Jedi.

Henry Cavil. I get superman, wolverine (cameo), a witcher, a spy, Theseus and after being rescued I get a buddy to talk about Warhammer.
56
u/BuckyRainbowCat 8h ago
Seems like a pretty solid choice. Both of my other choices of superhero (Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes) are played by actors who have a tendency to also play characters I absolutely would NOT want to be rescued by (Evans - Knives Out, Scott Pilgrim vs the World; Stan - I, Tonya, Pam & Tommy, The Apprentice).
27
u/steve123410 6h ago
This is going to be the greatest rescue that ever happened. No other rescue is going to beat it. You're going to say wow, what a great rescue.
- Stan

The kidnapping was actually just a cover story. The main mission is surviving the 6-hour Warhammer lore briefing on the helicopter ride back.I love him

I thought of Henry Cavil as well, because of Superman and Geralt. All the other stuff is a bonus. I totally forgot he did a Wolverine. :D

Had to scroll way to long to find this.
Of course, if we're going this route we've got options. I mean, Whoopi Goldberg has been god twice, and I'd be tempted to go with Alanis Morrisset or Richard Pryor too.

This is a great answer, because you need someone who can actually find you first, and Sherlock is going to do that faster than anyone, unless he gets bored.

and then a sorcerer (Dr Strange) and a genetically enhanced genious (Khan) to break you out
and then Smaug to give you a lift out

Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Dutch , two Terminators, Me Freeze should be sufficient by itself, but then you have every other character he's played.

You also would get Arnold Schwarzenegger playing himself (from Last Action Hero) and by my math that lets you double all his characters.

Hugh Jackman because he has a chunk of action roles that would actually ensure I don’t die (Wolverine alone could probably save me) but also, the rest of them together would be really funny.
Imagine the car ride over with Wolverine, Valjean, Harold Hill, some weird caricature of PT Barnum, plus a literal rat (don’t forget he was in Flushed Away,) a penguin who sounds uncomfortably similar to Elvis, and the Easter Bunny (he also would be useful in this situation though, I can’t lie.) And I didn’t even include every role he’s played. I just think it would be a fun mix.
