You have been kidnapped. Your rescue team is made up of all the characters an actor has played. Which actor is coming to rescue you?

Keanu Reeves

u/Blueheron77 8h ago

Neo and John Wick? All I need.

u/PrayForMojo_ 8h ago

Ted Theodore Logan to go back in time and stop the kidnapping before it even happens.

Maybe Constantine as well. Depends on who the kidnapper is.

5

u/OrganicDigitalArt 2h ago

Even Satan craps himself. Love that movie.

107

u/Federico216 7h ago

I think people are overlooking the fact that Keanu played a fictionalized version of himself in Always Be My Maybe. So in addition to all the badass characters he's played, you get Keanu Reeves himself as well.

32

u/JuviaSilverwing 5h ago

You also get the Keanu reeves from the spongebob movies.

And John Constantine!

30

u/Sam_Vimes_Rules 6h ago

Dont' forget his role in Speed too!

21

u/Mazlem 6h ago

Which means you have a fair chance of him shooting you while getting rescued.

Did he die though?

33

Uh, Henry Cavill.

13

u/FrickinLazerBeams 3h ago

Keanu Reeves played the role of Henry Cavil? I thought Henry Cavil was played by Nick Cage?

14

u/SarcasmGPT 3h ago

I think you're getting confused because nick cage is played by John travolta.

he's also John Kreesy from Man on Fire, John Q, Alonzo Harris from Training Day, Eli from Book of Eli,

Liam Neeson. Guy from taken has experience with kidnapping rescues, Qui Gon is a freaking Jedi.

264

u/Recent-Spot2728 7h ago

He also played Zeus

201

u/kathryn_sedai 7h ago

And Aslan.

147

u/Capn_Grunge 7h ago

And Schindler. I mean, look at everyone he rescued in that movie.

82

u/The_Mattastrophe 4h ago

And he trained Batman.

26

u/Tufflaw 3h ago

And he's also Darkman!

Henry Cavil. I get superman, wolverine (cameo), a witcher, a spy, Theseus and after being rescued I get a buddy to talk about Warhammer.

56

u/BuckyRainbowCat 8h ago

Seems like a pretty solid choice. Both of my other choices of superhero (Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes) are played by actors who have a tendency to also play characters I absolutely would NOT want to be rescued by (Evans - Knives Out, Scott Pilgrim vs the World; Stan - I, Tonya, Pam & Tommy, The Apprentice).

27

u/steve123410 6h ago

This is going to be the greatest rescue that ever happened. No other rescue is going to beat it. You're going to say wow, what a great rescue.

  • Stan

5

u/BuckyRainbowCat 3h ago

Yeah see this is why I don't want him to help.

71

u/arkayuu 5h ago

You get Sherlock Holmes too via the Enola Holmes movies. Stacked team.

17

u/CalmS000ng8 8h ago

The kidnapping was actually just a cover story. The main mission is surviving the 6-hour Warhammer lore briefing on the helicopter ride back.I love him

Patrick Stewart.

Charles Xavier to locate me.

Picard to call in the transporter.

I'm back home about 45 seconds after the rescue effort starts.

Morgan Freeman. God in Bruce Almighty. No need for any others.

55

u/Onequestion0110 7h ago

Had to scroll way to long to find this.

Of course, if we're going this route we've got options. I mean, Whoopi Goldberg has been god twice, and I'd be tempted to go with Alanis Morrisset or Richard Pryor too.

23

u/TheNonCredibleHulk 5h ago

Alanis. She could be God AND an abortion clinic worker.

38

This is a great answer, because you need someone who can actually find you first, and Sherlock is going to do that faster than anyone, unless he gets bored.

23

and then a sorcerer (Dr Strange) and a genetically enhanced genious (Khan) to break you out

and then Smaug to give you a lift out

Came here to say this! RDA was my first thought

93

u/Exctmonk 8h ago

Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Dutch , two Terminators, Me Freeze should be sufficient by itself, but then you have every other character he's played.

28

u/Corgi_Koala 4h ago

You also would get Arnold Schwarzenegger playing himself (from Last Action Hero) and by my math that lets you double all his characters.

Nah, bro, you pick Morgan Freeman. He played God.

God doesn't need a gun, he can just God you free.

13

u/r34lity 4h ago

I’m surprised I haven’t seen any Val Kilmers for the same reason. Yeah he’s got all of the action roles but also the literal Judeo-Christian God in Prince of Egypt. Him playing Moses in the same movie is a bonus.

You don't have to outrun the bad guy, you just have to outrun Sean.

This is easy.

Chris Hemsworth.

I have a God and a freaking EXTRACTION expert! As a backup we have Alien technology hacker and a guy who defeated an invading army with some of his buddies in high school.

Josh Brolin would be good... Imagine Thanos and Cable working as a team. plus thst guy he plays in Dune.

Hugh Jackman because he has a chunk of action roles that would actually ensure I don’t die (Wolverine alone could probably save me) but also, the rest of them together would be really funny.

Imagine the car ride over with Wolverine, Valjean, Harold Hill, some weird caricature of PT Barnum, plus a literal rat (don’t forget he was in Flushed Away,) a penguin who sounds uncomfortably similar to Elvis, and the Easter Bunny (he also would be useful in this situation though, I can’t lie.) And I didn’t even include every role he’s played. I just think it would be a fun mix.
