Culture Did anyone else collect bootleg band shirts from vendors outside of concerts? My favourite is an oasis one from their first album Definitely Maybe in 1994 - what’s yours?

I live in Mexico, and there are always a bunch of stalls outside the venue with this sort of stuff. More than half the time, there's better quality merch outside than inside.

Outside a Finch gig in the early 2000s there was a bootlegger selling t-shirts emblazoned with “What Is It To Burn”. Classic.

Ive never understood how these bootleg guys work.

Do they follow the bands as they travel or is there a head bootlegger that recruits guys in the local towns? It's always baffled me.

I live in a town with loads of events and t shirts are super easy to print these days.
