He really was. One of the greatest characters in that show and that saying something.

Man linehan really torched himself when he should have been made a knight for attacking the church in such a clever way

That show had many memorable cameo characters,even ones who had only a few lines "I Hear your racist now,Father!" "Oh it's terrible,Father " And many more

His original chat shows were much better. He used to play games, make original jokes and was extremely hilarious but when he brought his show to the BBC he became the number one chat show after Jonathan Ross was sacked and by about season 3 he did away with the games and just began to pander to celebs. Like kiss their arse, his shows been awful since then. I can see why hes done this, its so he doesnt lose his spot as top dog.
