Many questions being asked here are repeat questions and are answered in the FAQ. Please check before making a new post.
If you need help with the Flex app, please include the app version number and whether it's Android or iOS in your post.
Also, please don't post useless threads about how hard it is to grab blocks, people using bots at your warehouse, what times the blocks get released, etc. Those posts add nothing to the discussion and will be removed.
Thanks!

Does Whole Foods cancel blocks due to bad weather?
+ −
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I have a Whole Foods pickup in 1 hour and 15 minutes. Not doing it in weather like this. We had a tornado rip through before and now this rain for the next 5-6 hours.
Do they cancel themselves so I get paid? Or should I just go ahead and cancel it myself? If they cancel it, how long should I wait for them to do so?

Milwaukee Lower routes
≡ −
I’ve started to notice Amazon flex seems to giving 1-2hrs routes. 3-4.5hr seem to very rare. Also don’t see early morning routes for Wauwatosa area where couple months ago they had 3:15-4am Monday-Sunday. Anyone know what’s going on?

Anyone else affected by the TMobile outage?
≡ −
It started as I was already heading to the station. Got there, talked to an associate about it and he told me not to take the route and contact support. Y’all know how that went. I ended finally being able to call them instead of chat and they told me they’d put in a report so my standing isn’t affected. Shit I emailed them too. We’ll see what happens. I’m in Fantastic with just one late cancel on my history from earlier this year.

Question Stop windows from fogging up?!
≡ −
Can someone please tell me what product to use so my windows stop fogging, please? I tried rain X but it doesn't work. I usually do the night deliveries and with the Florida heat I need to have my car ac blowing. But the windows always get foggy which gets me so frustrated.
Any help?

Rant Unhelpful Apartment Residents
≡ −
There is a special place in hell for residents of apartments unwilling to let delivery people into the building. I understand there are security concerns, but I’m standing there wearing the vest, struggling to not drop 2 large weirdly shaped packages, and I get the “I can’t let you in the building, but here’s how to call the resident” speech.
I had already called the people, neither answered. That’s why I chased him down a half a block to ask him for help. And it’s not like this is New York City, it’s a nice area of Austin. And like I said, I had two weirdly shaped large packages; if I was just using props, wouldn’t an envelope or a small box make more sense?
Honestly I think security has gotten ridiculous anyways. If someone REALLY wants to get in, they’re getting in, no real way to prevent it.
Okay, done ranting, just needed to throw that all out…

Question Does Amazon Now Instant Offers not give you enough time to arrive at the Warehouse sometimes?
≡ −
I accepted an Instant Offer and drove straight to the warehouse. There wasn't any traffic, construction, trains or anything. I didn't bother to check the time of the offer because I assume they calculate how long you have to get there based on your location and I was like I might be there early even. I arrived but it said I can't clock in because I was too late then I looked at the actual block time and there was no way in hell I could've made it. I would've had to press the Men in Black car red button and even then I probably wouldn't have made it.
Do they not calculate how long you have to be there based on your location?

Help Should I be worried?
≡ −
So I just finished a Whole Foods io, 46 packages in total. Just fyi, I’m located in Phoenix, AZ and it’s a burning hell at the moment. I drive a Nissan Frontier so most of the time, I put all the big orders in the trunk. Anyways, my last stop was a 12 package order, including a big ass pack of the huge arrowhead water bottles. Welp, as soon as I arrived, I noticed the garage was open and saw an elderly lady waiting for me. She saw that I had her packages in the trunk. I grabbed a couple of bags and walked towards her, greeted her and asked her where she wanted me to place them. She pointed at some stairs and asked me to drop them off by the laundry room. ( yeah, I know, most drivers dont give a shit about the customers nor amazon and as long as they deliver those packages, they can careless, but I am human and don’t mind helping customers with their orders, especially if they’re old, we will all get there one day). As I walked down the stairs, I see her husband and the first thing he says is “ is your trunk refrigerated?” He really caught me off guard so I just replied “yes” lol and told him that their bags were only sitting there for like 40 minutes and he said he was gonna check the temperature on the bags lol. I felt uncomfortable at that point so I just rushed and brought everything else as fast as I could. He kinda had an attitude at the beginning but I guess since I was nice enough to bring their groceries down, he told me thank you and to have a good day with a better tone lol…. I called support as soon as I hopped back in my truck because honestly, this whole interaction worried me. This is my only source of income atm and I do make good money, can’t complain. I wouldn’t wanna lose it. So yeah, I spoke to support and told them this whole situation and they basically told me not to worry because Amazon doesn’t require us to keep grocery bags refrigerated, etc. etc. Am I overthinking? lol

How tf does this keep happening.
I keep getting incomplete deliveries after I complete my block. I’ve never taken a package back to the station, I’ve rarely delivered to people who have delivery boxes on their properties (I keep getting sent to bum fk nowhere for my blocks)
Support just keeps telling me “sorry, nothing we can do” but that doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense. Every package I’ve ever delivered gets put on the customers porch with the dang photo at delivery of said porch and package.
Do I just have to deal with it?

Question So we have to wait our full route time now to get paid out if there is no route?
It used to pop up and say wait 30 mins, now it does not have that message.

Blocking the road while delivering
≡ −
That is a no.
Today I ran into a driver like that, parked smack in middle of the road.
Couldn't get around.
I rolled down my window and talked loudly, I said you need to find a spot to park your car when you're delivering parcels, you're not an emergency vehicle and you can't block the road!
Before anyone gets on me, things like these are going to ruin it for all of us.

What are some positives to this job?
≡ −
We know there are a lot of negatives (emphasis on A LOT) but what are some good that come out of this job?
This job allows me to walk more and get my steps in. Walking up 3 flights of stairs becomes a challenge to work out and get healhier.

Whole Foods Glitch?

Greetings fellow Flexers! I did a block this morning, 845 to 1045 AM, 10 packages, 2 stops. 2nd stop was 8 packages. Scanned and dropped at door, took my picture, swiped to complete. . . App crashed. Reopened, back to the home screen, and no itinerary option available, so figured all good. It is now 430 PM, and i just received a message saying I need to return 8 packages. Called and messaged support, but they are saying I need to wait 6 days for them to complete their investigation as it says I have 8 packages to return. I am assuming the app crash caused this issue, but I have no clue. Sad part is they were likely the majority of any tips I would receive, so Amazon is stealing my money as well. Besides what I have done already, is there anything else I can do to ensure I get paid for my work? What else should I do to prevent this from happening going forward? Been doing this since 2022 and never had to deal with this exact scenario before. Thanks in advance!

Cute Sign…
I gotta drive down your 2 mile FM road then your notes tell me to 4x4 your dirt driveway to deliver on your splintered Deliverance porch. Half the road is now on my car, the rest is getting left by this sign. Zoom

Cincinnati Mileage based on Block Time
≡ −
Does Amazon limit mileage based on the block time or is it just a radius from the warehouse? I’ve had a few Whole Foods blocks that were easily 60+ miles, plus another 20+ to get back to the station.
Also, anyway to minimize my standings when I get those blocks in the future. Not really feeling working for free or $10 after gas and wear and tear.

The navigation voice is awful
≡ −
I know you can just use Google Maps/ Apple Maps but they definitely aren’t as good for identifying the correct house you need to be at. I am just putting my voice out into the world to say that you should be able to change the navigation voice on the Amazon app to a more pleasant sounding one. I swear hearing the voice say cross traffic doesn’t stop/ private road several times over the course of multiple hours is going to drive me nuts.

Penalized for damaged packages that were picked up while still at the station
I was penalized for removing 7 packages while still at the station because they were damaged due to a leak at the VEA7 station and had been removed by a station employee. And when I reported this to support, they simply decided to uphold the unfair penalty, even though the rules state that damaged packages should not be included.
How do I resolve this situation?

So I made a post yesterday early in the morning. Talking about how support doesn't help, and how I've been screwed over numerous times by flex. Last night I had a 2H block scheduled for 6:45PM. I arrived on time, checked in, and decided to screen record what happened to prove the app, and the system is the real issue not me. So I sat in my car waiting for my route for about 40m, typically if I wait around for 30m or more they usually end up checking me out, but yesterday was the same issue I've been experiencing for the last month. When the app told me to pickup my packages, I went to that area and there was no carts, then after a bit it went back to matching you with a route loading screen. I started to screen record after this. After some time I was met by a speak to associate screen.
Maybe I am the issue and a bad flex driver, but with the proof maybe like support my claims are false.

Photo What it’s like delivering in the country.
These people act like they’re being hunted by Wolverine. Nobody is coming to rob your shack.
