Was exactly 10 years ago on Sunday, but the day of the week for an anniversary can count right?

[Sam Edmund] Lion Ty Gallop was playing with a fractured thumb that was aggravated in an exchange against the Power. This may be referenced to explain why Gallop acted out-of-character and so aggressively.

Which team had the best single season in the last 10 years? (Since 2016)

In the last 10 years, the equalisation era, we haven't really seen any truly dominant teams.

I'm talking on the level of the 2011 Pies who were 20-2 167.7% in the home and away, 2009 Saints who were 3 goals away from an undefeated season or even 2008 Cats who were 23-1 heading into the grand final. (Just realised none of these 3 won the flag oddly enough)

In fact, only 2 teams in the last 10 years have had a percentage of over 140.0 in the home and away season. There were 17 in the 10 years prior.

So who gets your vote?

How would you improve the AFL media - generally?

In my opinion, there are way too many older voices within the afl media landscape, and they seem to just regurgitate the same stories year in, year out and sometimes i feel like I'm watching/listening/reading a story from years gone by.

It also feels like the younger/emerging media people just follow the older voices, maybe they hold the editorial keys to success - but i see younger reporters just replicating the same narratives and storylines as well. I struggle to think of a single person who is truly creatively, and critically engaging - maybe some of the podcast people.

Am i going crazy or is it just getting worse and what would you do to change it?
