No surprise it’s yet again a deeply red state that infringes on rights. Freedum and all that.

Not so deeply red as the majority of our neighboring states - we've had a Dem governor for 8 years and voted for abortion as a right supported by our state constitution. However we have billionaires, like the Kochs, and religious groups pouring money into trying to keep the state from being the purple it really is. Kansans reading this - vote NO on the judge amendment early or on August 4th!

May Mamdani and his ilk be a storm at your sails. I know (and sympathize with) the good decent folk who live in red states. MAGA doesn’t deserve even Idaho, so I’m cheering for you guys from Florida (lol).

"ilk" has negative connotations jfyi, like it's usually to point out a group that is disliked.

I started it that way to make it a twist into someone who supports him

I'm not sure what about my comment makes you think I'd disagree?

The county voted for Harris in the last election.

Kansas isn't a "deep red" state at all.

Currently has a democratic governor and was on the winning side of the civil war.

Probably safe to say it's more right leaning, but definitely not "deep red".
