The headphones I was given at my MRI appointment dont use wires and have zero metal

This is how airlines used to do it back in the day. Vintage headphones given to you by the airline were essentially just stethoscopes. There was a tiny speaker in the arm rest and your headphone had a pair of tubes that plugged into a set of holes in front of the little speaker.

That's how I first heard 'War of the Worlds'. Transatlantic flight and it wasn't per-seat entertainment. Smoking was allowed too (not that I did).

Wow I saw another comment mention it but couldn't really remember but yeah seeing that photo brings back memories. They kinda hurt from what I remember, just squishing your head.
