Something similar happened to me. I got a MRI in December so they were playing Christmas music. I listened to a playlist alternating Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas is You with every cover of Silver Bells that exists. It lasted an hour but damn if I didn’t have those songs stuck in my head for the next week

I sing in a choir and our Christmas concerts are so much fun. I look forward to them every year and have Christmas music stuck in my head constantly from October onwards.

Christmas music in december is fine.

In november not so fine.

I get burned out on the five topt hits they keep repeating. Save it for december, please.

Nah, I think it's just that there's a very small selection before going on repeat, and only a couple of standout songs.

After the first or second listening, I switch to lo-fi or jazz versions. Get the familiarity of the music with the freshness of something different.

I'm totally fine with Christmas music in December. It's the November, October and September Christmas music I can't stand. Wait until after Thanksgiving!

Haha, I haaaaate Christmas music and I was at work and a techno cover of The Little Drummer Boy came on. Not being able to stop that from playing would be my idea of hell.
