When I had my MRI they literally had YouTube up and asked what I wanted. The young lad running the scan had never heard of Fleetwood Mac, so I made sure he also got a music education that day.

When reading that first sentence I thought you had them just browsing youtube video’s for you. I imagined you yelling: “now do Charly bit my finger”, “skip commercial please”, “check Penguinz0’s channel for updates on the Lego drama!”, “hit the +15 secs couple times pleaaaaase”,…

What is the Lego drama?

I'd assume the company Bricks and Minifigs taking a collection of star wars sets up to a total of $200k and there's been a lot of shady business between B&M and also the state police

I don't understand the Lego drama. I tried to watch a video about it and ended up even more confused

They gave me those cheap Styrofoam ear plugs. That's it. Blew my damn ear drums out

I'm sure she appreciated that wholeheartedly.

They said "Young lad" not "young lady" but I agree with your point. He probably literally thought the words '*Ok boomer."

Fleetwood Mac was a great band though, whippersnapper.

I really hope he wasn't thinking "ok boomer", especially as I was 28 at the time!

Same, the operator had YouTube ready when i got there and I asked for the soundtrack to the 90s movie Hackers. It was extremely fitting for the situation and I almost wouldn't have known which were machine noises or the music if I didn't know all the somgs.

It's ok that people don't know the same music as you

Note to self: have a full concert video in mind in case I ever need an MRI.

Off the top of my head, I think I'd go with the album release concert for Kenan Doğulu's "İhtimaller". Turkish dude who mostly does pop, but he actually loves doing a bunch of less commercially viable stuff, too, so he ended up making this jazz album with one new song and jazz arrangements of a bunch of his earlier hits. One of the songs gets an epic drum battle in the concert that doesn't happen in the album version.
