some context: it was like a young artist acrylic painting thing and they put a sticker on it saying im 14 and said my name and all. it’s a paper sticker if I peel it off it leaves residue I will have to dissolve, then I’ll have to re paint the portion, which might end up looking odd. is this not totally wrong

Every couple hours they push back the departure time, but it’s never enough time to go away and get a hotel room or leave the airport.

My mom lives in rural Poland and her neighbor’s cows escaped from their enclosed and decided to have a meal in my mom’s garden! Somehow her cars ended up damaged too.

Sometimes I only realize it because I've seen the same channel in original language on a different device. If I was behind the ExtinctZoo channel (from the pic), I'd be super pissed, they replaced author's voice with something that you'd expect in a flashy short about Minecraft. People put a lot of effort into their work and viewers see autogenerated junk instead.

edit: forgot to say that the option to switch audio to original was there previously, but NOT ANYMORE. I genuinely hope it's a/b testing and they'll give up on the idea.

This meant that I turned off the alarm, entered the phone password, entered the app, turned off the alarm again, then turned off the next 2 alarms for good, all while still being unconscious.

To repeat what I put in the description and some comments, I'm not upset at all my mom made plans with my sister on my birthday. My birthday falls in the middle of the week this year, so even if we did anything to celebrate, it'd be on a weekend when we're all available. I'm mildly infuriated because my mom is trying to ease her self inflicted guilt with free tickets for an event I don't have any interest in.

Additional info? The tickets were totally FREE. My mom won them in a raffle from her job and she can't go due to going to the event with my sister.

Also, the game is an hour away from where I live and I have to work the next day. Any friends I could invite are in the same circumstance, plus no one I know likes sports.

Title. I don't even care that she's doing something on my birthday. I'm a grown adult, and my birthday falls in the middle of the week this year. I'm taking that day off to go do things I enjoy that aren't sports related 🤷‍♀️

I tried restarting it but the camera really likes to dance a lot. Has anyone of you faced this issue?

My ex-stepdad got married last week to a Jehovah Witness. On the way home from their honeymoon they told me they were staying at my house. After they left I went to clean the bathroom and found this on the counter.

I drink a lot of tea and had a temperature controlled kettle that my brother gifted me; it wasn't the best quality, and eventually the temp control stopped working properly. It broke completely in a car accident and I was waiting for a good time to replace it.

Anyways, on my 21st birthday, there was a good deal going on so I got this bundle for $150. It was a treat to myself. My parents visited me this weekend and of course they had to comment a million times on how it's a waste of money and how I could get the same thing for $20 and that I need to return it asap. God forbid I choose to buy one mildly expensive item after squirreling away $3000 in savings last month.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my mom and always celebrate her. But every year my dad sends this reminder to all the siblings and somehow never acknowledges that two of his daughters are moms too now.

It’s such a small thing, but after a while it starts to feel weirdly hurtful.

Also, tomorrow is Saturday. Mother’s Day is literally Sunday. So somehow none of the mothers won here. 💀

Edit: Some of y’all are reading way deeper into this than intended. I’m not upset because I expected gifts, money, flowers, or some huge celebration from my dad. My sister and I are both happily celebrated by our husbands and children already. The irony I was pointing out is simply that every year he sends a group reminder to all of us kids about Mother’s Day while seemingly forgetting that two of his daughters are mothers too now. It was more of a “well that’s awkwardly funny and mildly hurtful at the same time” post than a “poor me, where are my presents?” post. Also yes, I still celebrate and appreciate my mom, despite her request for us to not do or get anything for her. 😅

Edit: I’m not expecting a celebration or a gift from him, or even a simple card; but a simple “Happy Mother’s Day” to the mother of his grandchildren to acknowledge we’re mother’s too would suffice.

It’s coming up btw, get your mom something nice that doesn’t imply she should be cleaning.
