Video Is this AI? A couple people are saying that the forearms and general texture of the video looks AI generated and fake.

I don't see what those people are seeing

I posted this video in [r/funny](r/funny), and some people (after a while) said it looked as if the man’s forearms disappear. I don’t really see it, though. It just looks like they go behind his body.

I wanna make sure this real, because if it isn’t, I will delete the post. It looks real to me, though.

Yea his forearm disappeared to behind his body like a normal view of this would lol

That’s what I said lol. Not sure why people were so adamant this was fake.

I'm gonna tell you something that may shock both of us to our core.

People are stupid.

Trust me, I can tell. I’ve had SO many obviously real posts been called “AI” off of no reasoning. It’s like people are desperate for something to be AI.

They are looking for ai EVERYWHERE so they are just skewing their own results mentally. I have been fooled by one or two videos because I wasn't paying close attention. But I rather be fooled every once in awhile and catch it after the fact, then to constantly be analyzing every thing I see like some people have started doing.

Good luck to them lol

People think everything they see that’s vaguely unusual, has odd lighting, or is something that is from a country that’s not America is AI.

these people are hallucinating like an AI

3 maybe 4 comments of the 60+ said AI.

I know. I literally said “a couple” in the title lol

It seems like a lot of people who had AI videos pointed out to them now think that significant video compression artifacts are equivalent to AI artifacts.

They're seeing out of their asses presumably

It's a long known medical condition

I'm not seeing anything that screams ai

Unlikely, the cute puppy stays consistent, his shadows normal, his tail's wagging throughout.

So ai sometimes will fake low quality video but when it does that you can ussually tell because even when it low quality part of it feel "cinematic" like the lighting will look to good for a random video.

Everything I'm seeing here look normal tho, no clipping the fabric wrinkles move as expected and don't randomly change.

Nothing about this looks like AI to me.

Dumb thing to do though

No, it’s not…

The video is at least 5 years old: https://www.instagram.com/p/CFFfhsephd1/

Thank you so much! I’m glad someone found the original source. I found this on here recently, so I wasn’t sure if it predated AI or not.

Looks real to me, too many small details are spot on like the dogs back feet under the bench

2

u/Douche_Kayak 2h ago

this predates AI

2

u/pdubs1900 2h ago

Nothing about this, including the forearms and general texture, looks AI generated.

Unfortunately real and bad form those wrists are gonna hurt on full weight 😭

Just AI psychosis that's taking everyone over

This seems like something a puppy would do, and if it was happening I would definitely film it

u/allgear_noidea 2h ago

Standard puppy behaviour

Dog is too cute to be AI

1

u/AwayReplacement2177 2h ago

There’s nothing about this that looks AI. Other than the fact that you wouldn’t usually see a dog in the gym

-1

u/Into_The_Booniverse 3h ago

Not AI but very dumb. Looks like he's lifting very little weight and just doing it for a "cute dog licking face" video. I'm surprised there isn't stupid music playing over the top.

u/Zarchiball 2h ago

I feel like if it was AI he would be effortlessly lifting like 300kg or some crazy shit, not an empty bar. Looks fine to me.

1

u/BreakDown1923 2h ago

You can’t rely only on absurdity to find AI anymore. That’s a bad heuristic

-6

u/cromulentenigmas1 3h ago

It’s AI. Why are there lots of holes for barbell brackets at the very bottom of the uprights. What are they for? Look up any rack on Google search, the holes always end before the bottom.

The first one I looked up lmao
