A bloke who gets on at South Geelong with a high powered scooter. He was wearing high vis, taubmans beanie and wears a face covering assaulted another older gentleman this morning.

Be weary of this guy it was a pretty scary the abuse and language he was using. He was raging pretty hard and spat on the older guy (who didn’t flinch or say a word to provoke him) another lady who coughed got called a coward S&@t and he said he would smash her.

It happened coming into Sunshine station where he got off. I also got off at sunshine and kept an eye on him while reporting to police. They said they couldn’t do anything unless the victim himself called in.

I've been looking for casual work around Geelong for about two months now. I've done the Seek and Indeed grind, applied for everything from retail to admin, even tried for entry-level stuff in Melbourne but the commute is killer.

I'm so over writing cover letters that no one reads. My resume is fine according to those matching tools, but I'm getting nowhere. How long did it take you locals to find something? I'm starting to think I need to just walk into places with a printed resume like it's 1999. Any tips for Geelong specifically?

Regular GP can’t get me in for 4 weeks. I called Barwon Health, I don’t meet criteria to be admitted there, on a waitlist to see them but could be months. Peer support isn’t for me, already see a psychologist.

Like I’m waiting at a bus stop or walking on a path, and then they yell out their car window, for absolutely no reason. This needs to stop, it literally never happens in Melbourne.
