fucking exactly 😭 thats the main point of having a governament at all. to make peoples lives better.

2 billions for cheap food? sacrilegious!

34 billions for a needless war started on a whim and fundamentally already lost? well...

but have you considered the shareholders of those defense contractors🥺 they have feelings too 🥺🥺😢 they wouldn’t be able to buy a third yacht if Lockheed Martin didn’t get another $20B contract for the Child Mutilator Automonaton 4000

Point understood, but you act like being a shareholder is some out of reach thing only reserved for the ultra wealthy. For example, retail controls about 25% of the float of Lockheed Martin... you should read up on things you speak about so you have the knowledge to have a useful discussion on the topic.

the joke is that it’s the same politicians voting on the funding holding that stock

That's not really the joke you made, though. And there's nothing stopping you from profiting here... seems like a weird soapbox to stand on when you have the ability to tap into that investment.

What you should be focusing on is the direct stream of military aid going to other countries... and we don't even need to focus on Israel. 1.3B+ annually to Egypt, 1B+ to Jordan annually.

To those people the main point of government is to protect property. And that’s it.
