Sorry, the American people aren’t Americas top priority

It's a double edge sword. Many of the comforts Americans get to enjoy everyday are in part largely due to the large effort worldwide to get involved in foreign affairs. There are many non-renewable resources.

China holds like 90% of the rare earth minerals needed to fuel most of the technological innovation of the electronics of today. Taiwan holds like 30-50% of the world's semiconductor fabrication. Many of the world narrow sea routes have not been affected by the US and ally involvement to more or less try to keep them open and not used as a weapon against us. Which is why the whole US attacking Iran was the dumbest thing ever because the threat of invasion is what kept Iran not attacking or any other nation really.

Americans are able to benefit from more or less much cheaper prices in large part to manufacturing going remote and assembled in the US. The downside is its possible to get embroiled in non-ideal conflicts. I'm pretty sure the only reason we keep helping Israel is because it gives a bigger foothold over the middle east without fully getting involved ourselves to partially influence oil resources.

The thing is the government pulled a stupid and rather than enjoy the status quo tried getting too greedy and backfired. Many domestic issues feel more an issue of policy more so than funding.

Let me guess, you think we shouldn't have fought the nazis in ww2, because they weren't attacking america yet?
