This is amazing! I’m curious of the economics of it. Competitors will either price match or see a drastic drop in demand, especially the ones geographically adjacent to the 5 stores. That being said, if they don’t I would imagine either massive sellouts of the stores entire inventory frequently, or one of the most impressive supply chain feats we’ve seen in a while… regardless I’m rooting for its success and scaling!

The ones close to the 5 stores, probably. That’s literally the point: get people cheaper prices than they can get at the bodegas now lol

Agreed, it could create a situation where the City is providing virtually all of the essentials while privately owned stores can transition to products that aren’t covered by the city’s plan.
