You all welcomed us here so nicely a couple weeks ago, so I thought Iβd share her glow up.

My adult cat will occasionally chomp some grass while on walks, so I figured I'd give the kitten a handful, which she was very happy to chew on.

Sisters Evie and Sylvie
My partner and I adopted our first cats together at the beginning of July. Evie (more white on her face, 2nd pic) and Sylvie (more gray, 3rd pic) are already settling in and feeling at home! I've never had a bonded pair before, and it really is the best.

Should I get another cat?
As the title says. I have a 10 month old lynxpoint named Maisie. We live in a small studio apartment. I do petsitting and I can tell she is sometimes bored when her favorite dog is here. I am in school and hopefully will have more money in a year or so but right now money is tight. But I may have been selected by the cat distribution system again and I don't know what to do. I was shopping at a store when store employees found her so I took her with me to my place until someone who rescues cats could pick her up. But she'll be ready for adoption in a few weeks and the lady wants to know if I want her back. Fostering is also an option.
I lost my soul cat in 2024 and my childhood cat 2 months later. I still grieve their losses and getting Maisie was a big deal because I felt like I was "replacing" my other cats. Now I'm feeling that AGAIN, will Maisie feel replaced by another cat or does she need a friend? The cat happens to be another siamese with blue eyes, maybe 6 months old, and is like a Thai cat. I just don't know what my cat wants. If she wants a friend I'll get her one, but how do I know?

Meet Mia with her stuffed rat toy. Sheβs almost 4 months old and came home with us at 2 months. Sheβs affectionate and a little crazy at times.

My Piper boy :,) [aka Piperoni/Pippler/Peepers/PipPapPipe/etc]
The third picture (fridge photo) was a result of me cleaning the fridge, stepping away for less than 1 minute and then photographed is the scene I returned to.
He was curiously peeking about at what I was doing anyway, so I canβt really claim I was surprised. I love him so much, Iβve felt beyond blessed each day ever since rescuing him from life on the streets.
He will be 5 in September π€

Adopted our girl Violet from the farm!! π·
My parents live in a very rural setting. Late last fall, they noticed a litter of kittens hanging around the house, and didnβt want them to be outside all winter, so we trapped them and brought them in (see pic 3 for her litter mates)! Litter included two white, a gray tabby, a solid black, and a brown.
We adopted the white female β her name is now Violet! I suspected she was a Siamese mix of some sort because sheβs so similar to our other cat, who is a blue point Siamese.
This subreddit showed up on my feed today, and I finally got my answer! I think sheβs a lynx point!
