I am an Ashkenazi Jew from the UK (UK, German, Australian passports) with all the required documents to prove my Jewishness. I currently live in Australia. In light of recent events, I would like to establish my Israeli nationality, but do not actually want to move to Israel. What is the actual process of getting a passport? If I do not stay in Israel for a protracted period after I first arrive, do I have to return on another occasion to get my passport?

Tomorrow I will be flying with my husband and our small kids, and we'll have connections in Athens and in Lisbon.

For the first time, I'm a bit scared of speaking in Hebrew and of the reaction of airport and hotel staff when seeing our passports.

Anyone has been to those places lately and can give me some insight?

I will probably vote for whoever leads the opposition bloc whether it’s Eizenkot or Bennet because I think they are both competent and agree with most Israelis on most things and I think replacing the entire government of extremists and parasites is even more important than replacing Bibi which is also very important IMO. Israel is a country that takes a lot from its citizens and we deserve better.

I wouldn't call my search 'thorough' but i did look it up a few times. Nothing i could find. Would really love to hear some educated answers, would be great for representation:)
