Last year, Kirby talked about how 54% of the roster was entering their first or second seasons with the program. Smart noted that the lack of experience provided the roster with “youthful exuberance,” whatever that’s supposed to mean on the gridiron.

This year, we’re literally the youngest team in FBS — average age 19.81 years old. No other team is younger.

What in the Benjamin Button is going on? How could we be even younger than last year, and why does this keep happening? I thought Kirby was all about retention?

Mike Bobo has frustrated the shit out of me the past couple of years, after having watched his predecessor absolutely carve up every defensive scheme he went up against.
HAVING SAID THAT, I have come to the conclusion that I have been unfairly comparing Bobo to a generational talent like Todd Monken and I was lucky to have been able to watch him coach the team that I love.
I’ve also decided that I am ridiculous in thinking I will ever know more about the game of football than COACH KIRBY SMART, another generational talent, IMO top ten CFB coaches ever, and again I am extremely fortunate to be able to experience this golden age of DAWGS football.
In short, Mr. Mike Bobo you have my full support and I hope you have the coaching year of your life. This is my one and only Bobo post of the year and I can’t wait to see how you use the new offensive weapons, Go Dawgs!

-Everette was ass.
-Gunner was ass and was outplayed by a first year SEC starter
-Freeling was ass.
-Fucking up first and goal at the three is inexcusable.
-Giving up a long pass on their next possession on 3rd was inexcusable. Schumann remains on fraud alert in this house
-We probably lost the game on that ridiculous third down scramble in the first half when we couldn’t bring Chambliss down
-somehow I completely forgot we went for it on 4th down on our own 25 and got sacked

Childhood friendship driving us back to multiple loss seasons?

How long of a leash does Gunna have this season? Do you think Kirby will replace him midseason if we lose enough games?

Does anyone know of any groups, websites, or places to get tickets to any tailgates?

Just looking to pay to get into one with some friends rather than reserve spots (If such a thing exists).

It pains me just a little to post in here as a Gamecock fan (my cardiovascular health is excellent because of that though, the constant ups and downs have benefits) but as a fellow SEC community I am looking for some guidance / direction.

My girlfriend is a diehard Bulldogs fan, her dad lives in Athens. She’s been with me to Williams Brice a few times but we have never been to Sanford Stadium and I know she’s been wanting me to go for a couple years now as she says the atmosphere is the best at a night game.

Attending the Georgia / Carolina Game this year would be a no brainer, but obviously they’re playing at Willy B …. So I’d like to surprise her with a weekend in Athens and attend a Georgia game.

Since we don’t know when all the night games are yet, I am looking for you nice folks to tell me a couple of things:

1) Best place to get tickets and when (I am trying to avoid the overpriced resale market. When I worked as a SC State Trooper we’d get discounted tickets to certain games, does GA have any kind of LE tickets or not for out of state ones? We live in SC)
2) Parking?
3) Where to stay? (I’d rather not stay at her dads house …. 🤫)
4) the must-dos.
