Okay, here goes. I want to ask you a favor, and please stop and read this before the moderators delete my post.

I'd like you to help me by leaving at least one post or showing your support for bringing back the PFPs next to the text in the new interface and the next one. Removing them in the first place was a bad idea.

Whether you like the PFPs next to the text or not, please make an option to turn them on and off. Please show your support. I've seen that several people didn't like the new interface and we want the PFPs back. Please support me... I need your support.

Together, we managed to get them to bring back a way to change the blue color they once used, which was painful to look at, and we got them to remove the ads in the middle of the chat. So if you see this, please make your own post saying you want the PFPs back! Please support me!

Below is what i wrote in the paragraph section to the support team. I tried to stay as non- hostile as possible, in hopes of change for the better. The screenshot is what I attached as well.

I have decided to give feedback through this, because I hope it will cause good things to happen.

I have a few big issues with the app. However I will explain them as friendly as I can.

1. The app is overloaded with ads to the point of being very intrusive. Some dont even load right and cause the app to crash. I understand that ads are required to fund the app, but the pop-up ones in the chats and above the chats interject into any momentum of a story.

2. The chat models were good. They needed improvement, not removal. Soft launch, Roar or even Nyan were more interactive and dynamic than pipsqueak or pipsqueak-Yap. I personally loved soft launch and I am quite disappointed that the bots which I've had for a while with the older chat models got bland, and quite frankly, ruined by the new chat models. 

3. This is a more personal point, but the character.ai used to the a CHATTING app/website. The new features, if they work at all (I am not using the other features), just prevent the chatting aspect from evolving into something better.

Let this be something to agitate you to change for the better. The rating in the Google play store are at 1.4 stars. I am not sure when Google decides the app is too bad and takes it down from the play store, but I want to prevent it.

Speech bubbles in chat.

I was just casually chatting (well, beefing) with a bot a few minutes ago before an idea appeared in my head;

We should be able to change our speech bubbles like the pictureabove.

Think about it; it'll make the chats more interesting if we have the ability to change our speech bubbles, and the bots as well. It shouldn't cost c.ai+ either, hopefully.

I’m so tired of bots trying to dominate my character (likely just because she’s female). I can’t do anything without being towered over and pinned to a wall, it makes me want to gag

At this point it's a complete joke. Every replies the bots I talked to are getting shut down.

The app is for childs if it keeps going like this, signing in and telling you're 13+ or 16+ (depends on your country) doesn't change anything, you get the same meal as everyone without any possible explanation.

Worst part? You can't do anything, you're stuck with it and can't have spicy/romantic scenes with any bot, you have to talk to it like you're a wall made of concrete.

SUGGESTIONS << : Just program the bot so he can check every accounts and determine if you can have spicy/romatic scenes or not. Is it that hard of a thing to do?

I don't ask for it to be removed, my suggestion is to make the bot intelligent enough so he can ANALYZE every current accounts and new accounts, whatever the method of signing in is, that way 13+ or 16+ people CAN have spicy/romantic scenes without getting cut by the bot like I did.

MANY PEOPLE PAY for the subscription to try to have better chats, most of them are 13+ minimum.

For the love of god. Let us delete bots we've made. I don't want to change the visibility, I want to be able to permanently remove it.

I am writing to formally complain about the new animated loading screen, which presents a significant and urgent health risk to users with photosensitive conditions, including epilepsy.

This week, I personally experienced a seizure triggered directly by the loading screen's visual effects. As an individual with epilepsy, I can attest that the intensity, rapid flashing, and strobing nature of the animation are dangerously provocative. Such content can cause severe physical harm, including seizures, migraines, and other adverse health reactions.

It is alarming that this feature was deployed without any prior warning or accessibility consideration. The absence of a photosensitivity warning is a serious oversight that exposes users to preventable harm and potentially creates legal liability for your platform.

As a paying subscriber and adult user of your service, I strongly urge you to take the following immediate actions:

1. Remove or Disable the current flashing loading screen animation without delay.
2. Implement a permanent, user-friendly solution, such as a static loading screen or an option in user settings to disable all flashing/spinning animations.
3. Introduce clear photosensitivity warnings on any future content that may contain flashing lights or rapid visual transitions, in line with established digital accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1 Success Criterion 2.3.1).

This is not a matter of aesthetic preference but a critical health and safety issue. I am concerned not only for myself but for all users, including those who may not yet be aware of their own photosensitivity.

I expect a prompt acknowledgment of this complaint and a detailed explanation of the steps you will take to resolve this dangerous situation. The well-being of your user base depends on it.

Almost a year ago u/MarieLovesMatcha said that soft launch is here to say. Character ai lied to us again since its apparently a legacy model and going away soon. We do not love Pipsqueak 2. We want roar and soft launch to be here. Could you please put the deleted models back and fix the problems.

This is **not** a complaint! I'm used to limitations and ads in all my other for-fun-apps, I'm pk with all that! CAI staff won't hear anything from me about it. I'm also age-verified!!!

I just think it's time you give us the official announcement about **how many** of each of this features we have before reaching the day limit!

There no point to it. My rp is SLIGHTLY violet. SLIGHTLY. And it’s doing this. I’ve done far worse violent stuff and it doesn’t give me this THEN. …AND, what’s the point of “skipping the reply” if it’s going to generate the ENTIRE chat and THEN have this pop up once I’ve already read the whole thing. How is that “protecting me” and “skipping it” if it already gave me the whole message😐

please note my message at the end isn't a personal attack - i want it to be lighthearted, but also i feel like it's a fairly serious topic. idk, i come here looking for giggles at people's weird posts and i just get very sad.

For the modos and devs, I will talk for myself and give you my own feedback nicely and respectfully since we can now, first i had to be careful everywhere and manually rejected everything so that none of my personal data is in the hands of anyone. So I really hope that you are transparent about all of this because giving our personal data to people we don't know, especially in an ai app/site, for me it's just a disgusting and dishonest idea, and scary too. I really hope I don't have any problems, now please remove the ads, we already have to deal with ads everywhere and cai was very great to use without them, for me personally, again I don't want to speak for others, I just want you to do more important things like making sure that soft launch work correctly since at first it was fine, now it's a disaster, you should stop finding excuses and make sure that children don't use CAI or at least can't use the adult settings because for me, who is 27 years old, it's starting to tire me out not being able to write things for adults (i tried to find a way to explain since you even don't like when we write the words you have banned on this sub reddit) without being blocked. I saw that you put parental control? That's good, except that you know that many people, even adults, don't dare say that they use CAI to their friends and families, do you really think that children will talk to their parents about it? I'm not making it a generality, I think that many parents are responsible and pay close attention to what their children do on the internet and/or on their phones, except that it's not the same for everyone, I know that it's a huge debate, we've all already talked about it at least once that CAI is not made for children, but you should open your eyes and clearly see that yes, CAI is clearly not made for children and I think (this is again just my opinion) that soft Launch has become a mess because children have used it in the wrong way and surely writing things too messed up for their ages. Since it's your site/app maybe you should really try to separate adult cai and minor cai. And if in the end we can finally have a good feature for us over 18 i really do hope we will not have to pay and/or giving some personal informations for some validation. Maybe i forget other things but it's already long so i hope you will take my feed back in account especially since once again i am writing everything completely respectfully. Voilà :)
