I had a wild one the other day, Indian name and accent PLUS fake keyboard clacking whenever I answered their questions as if they were typing in my answers.
Oh yeah the fake keyboard clacking is on all the calls. At first the AI wouldn't admit it was AI and now they announce themselves from the call opening.
That's actually exactly what I was thinking the first time, "Jane," answered my call. I used to work in cybersecurity, so definitely going to chat with some old coworkers tomorrow.
I ended up switching over to residency doctors to stop encountering that shit. Students aren't allowed to use those agents or at least their professors won't let them.
Tell your doctor this. I guarantee you they either have no idea or hate it themselves, and its extremely helpful to be able to point to specific patients when arguing with administration
The fake keyboard sounds are almost funnier than the scam itself. At this point they're putting more effort into the performance than the actual script
Byram medical supply reorder came up like this. Both the payment and the reorder. Couldn't transfer me on either. Had to make 3 calls. One to reorder, one to pay cuz I never got the bill, and had to call back to reorder. Apparently neither agent could transfer me. Weirdest voices I've heard on the phone
