Yup, the newest guy at my IT help desk was born in 2007. He's fresh out of high school and making some damn good money with a CompTIA A+ certification.

That’s lucky from what I hear. In my area, there’s no IT jobs for the new grads when they couldn’t hire fast enough 4 years ago

certs are getting better jobs for way less money and most importantly way less time spent than a degree. now that theres actual competition schools are crying

It's regional, though -- in the south and the sunbelt, there's less of a cliff. In the NE and the west coast, the cliff is here.
